When chickens lay eggs, they lose most of their protein intake to the egg, providing them with a protein rich diet replenishes this lost protein.
• EASY TO FEED - This can either be fed by scattering it on the floor to promote foraging and exercise or by using a feeder. A handful of corn per chicken is plenty. Chickens tend to eat most of what you will give them within reason.
